Frequently asked questions

How much does a fence cost in Las Vegas?

National 2026 figures put most installed fences at $20 to $60 per foot. Local labor, the material and how much caliche the post holes hit change the number. Our fence cost guide lists the ranges by material.

Do I need a permit for a fence in Las Vegas?

Often. Block walls are the most likely to need one. The rule depends on whether your address is in the City of Las Vegas, unincorporated Clark County or another city. We check for your parcel.

How long does a fence installation take?

The build is usually 2 to 3 working days over about a week. Permits, HOA approval, the 811 marks and scheduling come first.

Who calls 811 before digging?

Whoever does the digging. On our installs we make the 811 request and wait for the utility marks.

Should I repair or replace my fence?

Repair it when the damage is in one place and the posts are solid. Replace it when repairs reach about half the cost of a new fence or most posts have failed.

Who pays for a fence between neighbors?

Ownership, a written agreement or HOA documents decide. Do not assume the neighbor owes half. Our Nevada shared fence page explains.

How much does a new fence cost in Las Vegas?

It depends on the material, the length and height, the number of gates and whether an old fence has to come out. We measure on site and give you a written quote with the options side by side.

Which fence material lasts longest?

Vinyl and aluminum need the least upkeep. Cedar looks great and lasts many years when it is sealed. Chain link is the most affordable. We explain the trade-offs for your yard.

Do you repair fences or only install new ones?

Both. We fix leaning posts, storm damage, broken panels and sagging gates, and we tell you honestly when a repair makes more sense than a replacement.
