Tennis and pickleball are played outdoors here most of the year, in parks, schools, HOA recreation areas and private yards. We install and repair court fencing: tall chain link enclosures, gates, windscreen and divider fences between courts.
Court fence is taller than yard fence and nearly always carries windscreen, which changes the engineering in a windy valley. We use heavier posts at closer spacing, set deep in concrete, with top, middle and bottom rails. Vinyl-coated fabric in black or green is easier on players and balls than bare galvanized. Screens are tied with breakaway fasteners or vented material, so a strong gust tears a tie and not a post. Sun rots cheap screen quickly, so we use UV-rated fabric.
A good share of our court work is conversion and repair: adding low pickleball dividers to a tennis court, replacing bent top rail, re-stretching sagging fabric and hanging new screen. A new private court fence may need zoning review for its height and, in a planned community, association approval. Lighting and noise rules are separate. We check what applies to your property.
Tennis court fencing in Las Vegas: common questions
Can you convert a tennis court for pickleball?
We can add divider fencing and gates to split one tennis court into several pickleball courts. Line painting and nets are separate trades.
How long does windscreen last in Las Vegas?
Sun and wind wear it out faster here than in mild climates. UV-rated screen with proper ties lasts longest. We do not promise a number of years.
Do I need approval for a tall court fence at home?
Likely yes. Court fences exceed normal yard heights, so the city or county and your HOA should be asked first.
