Most repair calls in Las Vegas fall into a short list: a gate that will not latch, steel posts rusted through where sprinklers hit them, panels knocked down by wind, wall-top steel that has come loose, and wood that the sun has split. We fix all of them and tell you honestly when a repair is no longer worth the money.
We start with the posts. If they are firm, new pickets, rails, hinges or a welded patch will last. If they move, the footing comes out and a new post is set to proper depth, through caliche if need be. Steel is repaired by cutting out the bad piece and welding in new, then priming and painting to match as closely as the faded finish allows. We carry common hinges and latches, including self-closing hardware for pool gates.
After a wind event or summer storm we can put up a temporary closure the same visit if a pool or a dog is exposed, then return for the permanent work. Block wall cracks and leaning masonry are a different trade, and we will say so if that is what we find. We do not publish repair prices, because every repair is different. The estimate is free and written.
Fence repair in Las Vegas: common questions
Do you repair just a gate?
Yes. Gate repairs are among our most common jobs: hinges, latches, sagging frames and leaning hinge posts.
Can you match my existing fence color?
We match as closely as we can. Powder coat and paint fade in desert sun, so a new section can look slightly darker at first.
Do you fix block walls?
We repair fences and gates attached to block walls. Structural cracks or a leaning masonry wall need a mason, and sometimes an engineer and a permit.
