Guard rail protects buildings, equipment and people from vehicles. In Las Vegas we install it at warehouse docks, around gas meters and transformers, along parking lot edges above drainage channels, at the ends of retaining walls and beside private driveways on hillside lots.
We set steel highway-style rail on steel posts, as well as pipe bollards and wheel-stop barriers, depending on what has to be stopped and how much room there is. Posts are driven or set in concrete. In caliche or shallow rock they are cored and grouted. Galvanized steel needs no paint and stands up well in dry air. Inside warehouses we bolt rail and bollards to the slab to shield racking, doors and offices from forklifts.
Rail on private property is specified by the owner or engineer. Anything in a public right-of-way is different and must follow the road agency's standards and permits. If your site plan or insurer calls for a particular barrier, send it and we will price that. We also replace sections that have been hit, which is the most common call.
